Complementary Feeding Cooking Education and Practice Activity Permata Dalima Serpong Hospital BSD, April 19, 2026 — Permata Dalima Serpong Hospital conducted a health education program titled “Let’s Cook Complementary Feeding Meals!” on Sunday (April 19). The program was attended by mothers and families seeking to enhance their knowledge and practical skills in preparing healthy complementary foods tailored to their babies’ nutritional needs. The event was officially opened by dr. Martha Pransisca, MARS, and dr. Asti Praborini, SpA, IBCLC, FABM, who both highlighted the importance of family awareness and knowledge in infant nutrition, particularly during the introduction of complementary feeding. The educational session was delivered by dr. Yoga Yandika, SpA, who presented the fundamental principles of complementary feeding, including appropriate timing, balanced nutritional composition, and the progression of food textures according to the child’s developmental stage. This session aimed to strengthen parents’ understanding in supporting optimal infant growth and development. As the highlight of the program, participants engaged in a hands-on cooking session led by the lactation team of Permata Dalima Serpong Hospital. During this session, the facilitators guided participants in preparing simple, hygienic, and nutritious complementary meals using practical recipes that they could easily apply at home. The session was conducted in a warm and engaging atmosphere. Babies in attendance showed positive responses to the meals provided, while parents expressed relief and satisfaction in witnessing their children enjoy the food.
