With modern facilities along with certified consultant and counselor, our lactation team will provide exemplar services to fulfill WHO / UNICEF’S criteria to support “10 Steps for Successful Breastfeeding”. 10 Steps for Successful Breastfeeding Devise written policies regarding breastfeeding and communicate it to all health services’ staffs. Train all staffs with needed skills to conduct those breastfeeding policies. Inform all pregnant women about breastfeeding’s benefit and management. Help early breastfeeding mother in the first 60 (sixty) minutes of labor. Educate mothers on how to breastfeed and maintain breastfeeding even if mothers are separated from their babies. Feed newborn with exclusively breast milk unless there is a medical indication. Apply joined rooming for mothers and babies for 24 (twenty four) hours. Advise to breastfeed according to babies’ needs. Do not provide babies with pacifier. Encourage the creation of breastfeeding support groups and refer mothers to said group once she’s out of Health Services Facility.
